September 30Th 2003 2100 hours
It was about time for Samuel to get moving on his project. Earlier in the day he got some stencils and acetone from the Hangar deck. While on the deck he was careful not to be overly noticed (he didn't want one deck chief Alexandria to notice him.) Samuel wanted to make the new quarter heading look as official as he could. In fact he felt that if he could make it look official enough maybe they wouldn't even notice for a day or two.
the Intel came in there schedule read they had a briefing at 2100 hours. The ladies had left earlier to get them distracted, it would be hard for Samuel to believe that they hadn't completed there mission yet. The two woman where stunning and they knew how to get a mans attention. Samuel had on his casual regs nothing to conspicuous.
Samuel had the stencil's laid out in front of him on the table and was sitting facing the door with the chair backwards in between his legs. His arms where folded over the chair's back rest and he sat head up and shoulders slightly rounded. He was waiting for the others to bring him his paint. They would be coming along anytime now.
Samuel and Cronus had a little small talk they just talked about there part of the plan and wanted to make sure each of them knew there role. Samuel was to be the artist. (fortunately for him he was able to find some stencils or else it may look like one of the pilots kids got on the Hyperion and did the little prank. Penman ship wasn't exactly Samuel's strength. He could write legibly but it was nothing fancy.)

Chris had been out and scouted the area Tatiana and Samantha had seemed to have done their job and the place was clear for them to move. Chris made his way back toward the quarters where Samuel was waiting. Just as he got to the door he could see Vik and Ty just down the hall away coming with the paint. it seemed their portion of the op went well. So long as Samuel had what he needed they were a go for the day.
Chris opened the door and walked in. As he saw Samuel a smile crossed his face. He was ready and had had his preparations for the event. "Good to see you didn't find a place to hide Rook. Now your paints in the way so get yourself gathered up we will be leaving in a few minutes." Chris went and flipped the seat opposing Samuel at the table around and sat in the same fashion as him.
"Welcome to the Shadow Hawks kid." Chris said with a wild smirk on his face. It seemed Samuel was willing to take on the roll of being part of the crew. Now they would see how it goes and how he deals with an y pressure that comes afterward. Surely Drake would give him a bit of a questioning for it by the time it was all over, but Drake was no stranger to Chris' pranks and would likely laugh like he had before about them.

Tyler looked behind him as he scrambled down the hall, and looked back to Vik for the thousandth time. It hadn't really been a thousand times, but it was beginning to feel that way. He had know the Chief since her commision, practically, and he'd never seen anyone be so coy with the woman and not take a lashing for it. He smirked as his long stride crescendoed in the corridor, and then he turned around. With her assuredly seeing the look on his face before he'd turned, he said quietly, yet triumphantly, "I can't believe you said that to her..."
He reached the door, and gripped the handle, yanking it back in the way people do when something is so practiced it has become a mild inconvenience. As he entered, he imitated her voice from before, and in full earshot of anyone in their quarters.
"Let's go with 'less finesse'..." He said in his best impression of her. To be fair, all women that he tried to re-envision the voice of, came out with little difference. So his rendition of her earlier antics was likely to be somewhat divergent. He turned back to the group laughing, now with his voice a bit higher than it had been in the halls. "I can't believe you told her that to her face, where's my old Shadowhawk at, and who are you with the brazen stick out of your ass?" Ty asked laughing, then he turned to the three already here and gestured towards Lion, "Sup Dizzy, you ready to display some Monclair debut? Hope your brush is a sharp as our gals wit."
He set down the cans of paint, only two, but Vik had one more, it wasn't going to be a masterpiece, but it would sport the classic Viper colors at least. Mark VII colors, which was mostly grey. He smiled at their take, as Vik had adverdanty swiped a red, which he had honestly not expected.
