Other Notable Persons:
Personality: Henry is a strong leader and a man of honor. He’s rather stiff and inflexible, never the type to engage in idle banter or joke frequently. He’s deadly serious even when the situation isn’t deadly. He’s the type that is always thinking, always optimistic, and always confident that a solution can be found for any problem. He’d never sell out, abandon, or even fail to give aid to a friend. He’s unlikely even to leave an enemy in trouble if it can be helped (Cylons are a different story).
After meeting him, some question why he ever left the military and to be honest he’s not exactly certain it was the right choice. He has however made a decent life for himself and more importantly his family which he adores. He has become a valued asset for his company and strives to achieve and maintain both the love and respect of his men.
Likes: Discipline, respect, camaraderie, success, efficiency, challenges, his family and crew
Dislikes: Excessive idle banter, incompetence and laziness, small-minded persons with power (bureaucrats, military officers, etc.), criminals and generally the dishonest, alcohol and more specifically how it can ruin lives
Fears: Being stuck on the moon forever, having their supplies run out and going out that way, losing the respect of his men.
Aspirations: Get his family, crew, and the others he has found to safety.

Anything Else?:
History: Henry was born to a middle class Virgon family in the suburbs of Blaustad. His father was a high school history teacher and his mother a paralegal at a small local law firm. Henry was raised by his parents to be a well-mannered gentleman. Their chosen professions also rubbed off on him, making him a bit more on the academic side than most boys his age. Henry didn’t always have his nose in a book, but between the regular sports and games of young boys he would regularly find time to read and study.
Although the family lived well, the Millers couldn’t afford to send Henry to an expensive university to further his education (or more appropriately they couldn’t afford to send all three children and didn’t want to play favorites at the expense of the others). Smart as he was, Henry wasn’t near the level to earn a significant scholarship, at least not at the types of colleges he wanted to attend. The solution that presented itself was the military. Henry would put in at least four years and come out with government assistance to help further his education. So that’s what he did.
Henry joined up in ’84 and became a marine. He first served aboard the Triton until ’86 when he was promoted to corporal and transferred to the Uned. Service was rather quiet due to the over twenty year peace at the time, but it suited Henry just fine. When he had to work it was all serious and disciplined just like him, and during the long periods of free time that may have bored others, Henry simply read to supplement the other forms of entertainment aboard ship.
As much as he enjoyed it, when his time came up Henry decided not to reenlist. He’d joined to go to college after all and he intended to do just that. There was also his growing family to worry about. Just prior to enlisting, Henry had married his sweetheart, Simone. She gave birth to two sons while he was in the service (he made the most of his leave) and the boys could use having their father around instead of off across the stars for months at a time. Thus, Henry went to Boskirk and left school four years later with a major in engineering and minor in business.
With four years of military service and another four of higher education behind him, Henry found work aboard a Colonial Heavy as an engineer. After two years he was soon chief engineer. Two years after that he was poached by a rival company to command.
